From planning and development, tree risk-benefit surveys to heritage landscapes and veteran tree management, their work is diverse, respected, and continually growing.
My client is now looking to expand their team with up to 3 new Tree Consultants and/or Tree Surveyors, and welcome applications from candidates at a variety of career stages, from graduates and arborists moving into tree surveying and tree consultancy, to experienced Arboricultural Consultants seeking their next challenge.
The Role - Arboricultural Consultants / Tree Surveyors
You will be part of a supportive consultancy team working on a wide range of projects, including:

Tree surveys for development, planning and risk management.
*
Producing high-quality surveys and reports for a variety of clients
*
Advising clients on tree health, safety, and management.
*
Working alongside planners, architects, engineers, and ecologists.
*
Contributing to the delivery of innovative and sustainable tree management solutions.
What Our Client is Looking For
My client recognises that great consultants come from different backgrounds, so my client welcomes applicants from across the spectrum of experience. Ideally, you will have:

A qualification in arboriculture, forestry, or a related discipline (Level 3 minimum; Level 4/5 or degree desirable).
*
Tree surveying skills (experience with BS5837 surveys an advantage).
*
Professional Tree Inspection - LANTRA
*
Knowledge of tree risk assessment (VALID, QTRA, TRAQ or similar beneficial).
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*
A positive, professional approach, with enthusiasm for continued learning.
*
A full UK driving licence.
*
For experienced consultants: a track record of delivering consultancy projects, client management, and mentoring skills will be valued.
*
For graduates/early-career candidates: full training, mentoring, and CPD will be provided to support your development.
