Overview
Term Time Only. To start as soon as possible. St Catherine's is a school very proud of its friendly atmosphere, excellent pastoral care and strong academic reputation. Our School Mission captures the spirit of our happy, confident and inclusive community.
Role
We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly-motivated Creative Arts Technician who will collaborate closely with teaching staff to enhance and expand the department's work and enrich pupil experiences by supporting the practical and technical aspects of the Creative Arts curriculum. The successful candidate will be proactive with strong creative skills. Prior experience in a Creative Arts specialism is advantageous, but not essential.
Currently, the curriculum across Years 3-13 includes Art, and Food and Nutrition, and Textiles is introduced in Year 9. GCSE girls can choose to take Fine Art and Design, Photography, Food and Nutrition or Textiles and there is a strong uptake in these creative subjects. Girls can study Fine Art, Photography or Textiles at A Level, and Graphic Design is also sometimes offered. There are options to develop and adjust this programme.
If you feel you have the experience, enthusiasm and commitment we are looking for, then we would be delighted to receive an application from you.
