Location: Buckhurst Hill, Essex (Central Line) Role: Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (French and Spanish) Pay Scale: GBP140 : GBP170 per day (Dependent on experience and scale) Contract: Full:Time / Supply (Long:term potential) Start Date: Immediate / January 2026
We are actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Buckhurst Hill area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate linguist who can deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).

Key Responsibilities
* Delivery: Teach French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4 with confidence and enthusiasm.
* Planning: Plan and prepare well:structured lessons that cater to a range of abilities (for long:term bookings).
* Assessment: Mark and monitor student work to ensure progress, providing constructive feedback in line with school policy.
* Engagement: fostering a love for languages and cultural awareness within the classroom.
* Behaviour Management: Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in both French and Spanish.
* Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for one).
