Territory Sales Manager - UK

Key Responsibilities

* Develops and manages assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth.
* Researches and understands territory growth opportunities for developing an effective business plan and sales strategy.
* Maintains and develops strategic partnerships with key customers and leverages internal resources to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
* Develops the client relationship by understanding both short‑term and long‑term needs/goals for optimal positioning of IDT’s products and services.


Education

* Master’s degree in a Life Science field or Bachelor’s degree with relevant Life Sciences sales experience required.
* PhD in a Life Science field preferred.


Essential Requirements

* Five years of prior sales experience required; preferably in life science reagents/consumables.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets for at least 3 years is required.
* Applications experience within NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis, etc. and working knowledge of accounts in assigned territory preferred.
* The position is based in the North‑UK with 50% travel, primarily within the North‑UK.
* Fluency in English is a must.


Preferred Additional Experience

* In depth knowledge of SalesForce.com and working knowledge of PowerBI.
* Outstanding prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation and closing skills.
