Our client is a Family Services provides residential assessment and holistic family support to children, young people, and parents, particularly those with additional needs.
Situated in a beautifully renovated three-storey home in Redhill, we deliver strength-based, trauma-informed care using the award-winning Parent Assess framework. We aim to create a safe, nurturing environment to support lifelong family bonds.
Role Overview
As our Administrator, you will be essential to the smooth daily operation of the centre. You'll support our residential and assessment teams, manage communications, and ensure accurate record-keeping so that frontline staff can focus on delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact: answer phones and emails, welcome families, and professionals
Maintain internal databases, filing systems, and referral logs
Assist with scheduling -organise appointments, team meetings, and pre-visits
Support confidential document management (care plans, assessments, safeguarding files)
Coordinate administrative support for residential assessments
Liaise with external agencies: local authorities, courts, and social work professionals
Help prepare hospitality for visiting families and children
Order and manage office and household supplies
Take meeting minutes and manage internal distribution of updates
Assist with data gathering tracking vacancies, monitoring admission periods
Demonstrate understanding of GDPR and data protection in all tasksPerson Specification
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in an administrative or customer-facing role
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to use database software
Clear and compassionate communicator, both written and verbal
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Commitment to confidentiality and data protection
Empathetic and professional when working with vulnerable familiesDesirable Attributes:
Experience in social care, residential services, or assessments
Understanding of safeguarding and children's services
