We are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Midday Assistant to join our Little Bears team at our Wanstead Green site. Level 2 or 3 is desired but not essential Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm This is an all year round role and term time cannot be accommodated. The Role Work as a member of the nursery team to create a stimulating and nurturing environment where the highest standards of care are provided. You will be able to use your own initiative to meet individual childrens needs and take responsibility for the safety, security and well-being of all children within the room. At all times, you will ensure all agreed Company Policies and Procedures are adhered to in the nursery. Responsibilities To work as a member of the nursery team, to create a stimulating and nurturing environment where the highest standards of care are provided. Take responsibility for the safety, security and well-being of all children within the room. We are looking for individuals: Prepared to undertake professional development as appropriate. Good communication skills with children, staff, and parents. Excellent time keeping Knowledge and understanding of Equal Opportunities Previous childcare experience working with children between the ages of 3 months to 5 years. A clear understanding of all relevant safeguarding legislations and Health & Safety issues.
