We’re working with a leading NHS Trust to recruit a Facilities Manager (Operations) to oversee estates and facilities services across a Primary Care Network (PCN). This is a key operational role, offering the opportunity to lead site management, ensurepliance, and drive service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead day-to-day management of estates and facilities staff, including portering and support teams.
2. Act as the main point of contact for estates services across the PCN
3. Manage outsourced contracts and ensure service delivery meets agreed standards
4. Oversee space utilisation, sitepliance, and risk assessments
5. Support capital and minor works projects, including statutory maintenance
6. Monitor budgets, authorise spend, and contribute to cost improvement plans.
7. Maintain fire safety, security, and emergency procedures across sites
8. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors to resolve operational issues
9. Ensure statutorypliance and contribute to audit and inspection processes
10. Represent estates in PCN meetings and support strategic planning
What You’ll Need:
11. Degree or equivalent experience in Estates & Facilities management
12. IOSH certification
13. Strong leadership andmunication skills
14. Experience managing operational teams and service contracts
15. Ability to work across multiple sites and manage changing priorities
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing
17. Knowledge of healthcare environments (desirable)
18. Project or contract management qualifications (desirable)
