* Proven management or supervisory experience in a workshop or similar environment.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and compliance requirements.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Your Responsibilities
As our Workshop Supervisor, you'll be the go-to person for managing the workshop and leading the team day-to-day. Your responsibilities will include:
* Running the workshop efficiently - planning workloads, prioritising tasks, and ensuring smooth operations.
* Leading and motivating the team - providing guidance, approving holidays, and maintaining accurate records.
* Driving Health & Safety compliance - promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring standards are met.
* Managing trailer inspections and MOT processes - guaranteeing quality and compliance.
* Handling breakdowns and coordinating repairs during garage hours.
* Managing stock and parts - ordering, raising PO numbers, and keeping KPI sheets up to date.
* Conducting quality checks on inspections and repairs.
* Maintaining workshop standards - cleanliness, equipment calibration, and PPE compliance.
* Overseeing service paperwork and defect logs with precision.
