Exciting opportunity to join a leading main contractor with a strong pipeline of high-profile construction projects across the UK. They are looking to appoint an Assistant Design Manager on a temporary basis to support the delivery of design coordination and management across live projects.
Your new role
As the Assistant Design Manager, you will assist the Design Manager in coordinating design information between consultants, subcontractors and internal teams. You will support the review and management of drawings, specifications and technical submissions. As part of the role, you will attend design and coordination meetings and help ensure designpliance with project requirements, building regulations and client expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you should hold a degree in Architecture or a related field and have previous experience in a design or technical role within a main contractor or consultancy. You should be proficient using AutoCAD and have a strong understanding of construction processes and design coordination.
