IPS Group are proud to be working alongside a major Global Insurer who are in the process of launching their new cyber product and are therefore looking to hire a Cyber Trading Team Manager to lead the initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a brand-new team focused on regional cyber risks for UK SMEs, supported by digital trading capabilities and a clear growth strategy.
As the Cyber Trading Team Manager you will lead and manage a team of Underwriters consisting of 3 Senior Development Underwriters, 1 Senior Underwriter and 3 Assistant Underwriters. It will be within your remit to drive profitable growth ensuring that high standards are met. You’ll oversee both the market and E-trade underwriting processes using a variety of tools to enhance the Broker experience.
Providing strong leadership to the team will be key to ensuring they achieve new business targets whilst at the same time offering a high level of service. You will manage a mixed level of experience so will need to be able to adapt your management style between proved Senior Underwriters to junior Assistant Underwriters on a daily basis.

To be considered you will need to be a proven Underwriting Team Manager within either an Insurer or MGA. You will not need to have managed Cyber Underwriters before but an interest in cyber as an emerging product will be helpful.
You will be rewarded with a competitive salary c£70, or maybe more along with a bonus up to 25%, a strong pension up to 12% non-contributory, private medical and dental.
