This position involves working 36 hours per week, Saturday to Monday on a weekend shift pattern, with a pay rate of £13.19 per hour plus bonus and benefits.
The Low Risk Kitchen promotes excellent teamwork by employing individuals with a positive attitude who are eager to learn various skills within the Prep Department. This approach helps produce quality products efficiently and aims for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include:
1. Weighing ingredients for recipes.
2. Managing stock using FIFO methodology.
3. Cooking following supplied recipes.
4. Cleaning pots and liaising with High Care Operations when changing product types.
5. Completing paperwork accurately and fully, as legally required.
6. Working in other areas as needed.
7. Ensuring finished products meet quality standards and are right first time.
8. Reporting any quality issues to the supervisor.
9. Achieving accurate yields for consistent quality and minimal devaluations.
10. Conducting taste tests and recording consistency readings.
Essential requirements:
* Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.
