We’re on the lookout for a capable and friendly Medical Receptionist to join a busy health clinic in Christchurch. This is a temporary role for 4–6 weeks, working Mon to Fri 8.30am-5.00pm, starting ASAP.
About the Role
This is a front-line position where your warm and organised approach will help create a great experience for our patients. You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of reception and administrative support for our busy clinical team. Main duties include but are not limited to:
* Welcoming patients and managing check-ins
* Booking and managing appointments using practice software
* Answering phone and email enquiries
* Processing payments and updating patient records
* General admin support for clinical staff
About You
* Experience with INCI (essential)
* Previous experience in a medical reception role (essential)
* Confident communication and strong customer service skills
* Good computer literacy and experience with patient management systems
* A friendly, professional, and calm approach
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
