Treasury Manager
Finance Department
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Treasury Manager. In this key management role, you will be responsible for overseeing the income management and debt collection functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The successful candidate will lead a team of income professionals and work collaboratively with other departments to support the university's strategic objectives.
In this role you will:
1. Oversee the University's income generation activities, including fee collection, grants, and partnerships.
2. Monitor financial performance and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize revenue streams and financial processes.
4. Maintain strong relationships with external partners, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
5. Manage the receivables ledger and aged debt, to ensure prompt payment of invoices, including proactive management of any instalment plans and resolution of disputed items.
Our ideal candidate will:
6. Be qualified to A-level or equivalent and/or hold a relevant professional qualification and/or clearly evidenced equivalent experience.
7. Have extensive experience in Income and Debt Collection Management, preferably in a large organization or higher education institution.
8. Have proven experience in treasury management, income generation, and financial analysis.
9. Have a strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and risk management practices.
10. Possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
11. Have effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
12. Possess a proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
