The Short Term Assessment, Rehabilitation and Reablement Service (STARRS) is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Senior Physiotherapist to bring new ideas and share excellent working practices within this busy, friendly, and supportive multidisciplinary team.

STARRS provides Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy services, including specialist assessments, equipment, and short-term packages of care.
We are an energetic service that offers a comprehensive approach to enable safe, timely Early Supported Discharge from the hospital, reducing the length of stay by continuing patient care at home. The team operates 7 days a week from 08:00 to 22:30.

Main duties of the job
We require a Senior Physiotherapist with experience across various clinical areas, including community settings. You must demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning, risk assessment, and communication skills (verbal and written). Due to team standards, you should be able to work under pressure and provide timely assessments and interventions. You will be expected to work autonomously and undertake visits in line with the STARRS Lone Working Policy.
Experience supervising staff and students would be advantageous.
You will receive supervision from experienced Physiotherapy colleagues and have opportunities to develop high-level skills in an intermediate care setting. Through our 'Top to Toe' training, you will be proficient in advanced clinical assessment, including recognizing and managing acutely unwell patients in the community. Continued professional development is encouraged.
Essential requirements:
* HCPC Registration
* Broad clinical experience and excellent communication skills
* Driving license (trust offers a lease car facility)
* Registered driver with a clean UK license
