Overview
Live-In Community Worker in the UK with visa sponsorship available. You will live in a L’Arche home and support individuals with learning disabilities as part of one of our 11 communities in the UK. This role involves building mutuality, community and spirituality, helping people we support to be independent within a network of partnerships and friendships. You may also assist L’Arche assistants in continuing to care for and support individuals with learning challenges.

What to expect
Living in a L’Arche community is a demanding experience that includes a monthly allowance in addition to full board and housing. You will gain a thorough understanding of social care in the UK while living in an inclusive, alternative social model. You’ll make lifelong friends and form meaningful relationships with people.

* No prior social care experience is required; we ask that you be amiable, curious, sympathetic, and dedicated. Training will be provided.
