Key Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager - North West England
Our client, a highly successful financial services provider, seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role focused on expanding introducer relationships and generating new business opportunities for their team of Mortgage Brokers and Commercial Finance Brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and deepen relationships with key introducers, including accountants, property professionals and internal stakeholders.
2. Proactively source and onboard new introducers, creating a strong and sustainable pipeline of quality referrals
3. Collaborate closely with the internal broker team to align business development activity with the firm’s growth targets
4. Represent the brand at industry events, networking opportunities, and introducer meetings
5. Provide market intelligence and feedback to management to help refine strategy and product positioning
6. Track, monitor, and report on introducer performance, pipeline quality, and conversion rates
7. Act as a trusted point of contact for introducers, ensuring service excellence and long-term partnership
Requirements:
8. Proven track record in business development or relationship management within financial services (e.g., mortgages, commercial finance, invoice finance, asset finance)
9. Strong existing network of introducers or ability to build relationships quickly.
10. Solid understanding of the UK mortgage and/or commercial finance market
11. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
12. Self-starter with strong organisational skills and commercial acumen
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, results-driven team
£40 – 60k Basic + Bonus + Benefits
