It features over 70 meeting rooms, 300 bedrooms, and a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner for over 200 guests. The onsite leisure club is operated by Nuffield Health.
The venue is flexible and can accommodate up to 600 delegates, making it one of the largest dedicated training and conference centres in the UK. It is part of The Venues Collection, a division of Compass Group UK & Ireland.
The Role:
* Lead all areas of Commercial and Financial Development to help achieve the venue's profit targets.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and budgeted profitability.
* Lead Profit Protection Audit compliance.
* Challenge forecasting and budgeting data for accuracy and integrity.
Finance Team:
* Utilize forecasting to identify business risks and opportunities.
* Develop department heads into commercially aware leaders.
* Provide financial training to management teams.
* Monitor cost drivers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Control payroll in line with revenue budgets and maintain accurate records.
* Collaborate with management and head office to produce actionable management information.
