Travel required About the Company Our client is a well-established and growing organisation operating within the construction materials sector. With multiple sites across the region, they are seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer to support the ongoing maintenance, repair and reliability of their plant and equipment fleet. Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of heavy plant and processing equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults efficiently and accurately. Perform repairs and breakdown response to minimise operational downtime. Strip, inspect, rebuild and overhaul major machinery components, including engines, drivetrains and hydraulic systems. Maintain and service crushing, screening and material processing equipment. Complete maintenance records and report equipment issues effectively. Travel to other operational sites when required to support maintenance activities. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures. Requirements Proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
