This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving recruitment performance through people leadership, KPI ownership, workflow optimisation, and direct recruiting delivery. You will manage a fast-paced recruitment desk, allocate roles effectively across the team, and ensure consistent, high-quality hiring outcomes for the business.

You will partner closely with Practice Leads, Delivery Managers, and Account Managers, translating workforce demand into actionable recruitment strategies, while continuously improving efficiency, capability, and candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, coach, and develop a team of experienced recruiters, setting clear expectations and performance standards.
Own and manage recruitment KPIs including time-to-hire, CV-to-interview ratios, interview-to-offer conversion, and offer acceptance rates.
Conduct regular performance reviews, 1:1s, and coaching sessions to drive capability, accountability, and engagement.
Foster a high-energy, delivery-focused culture aligned to business priorities.

Recruitment
Personally manage a live recruitment desk, delivering experienced hires for priority and complex roles.
Lead by example through high-quality sourcing, screening, stakeholder management, and offer negotiation.
Step in to support escalations, hard-to-fill roles, or urgent business-critical hiring needs.

Resource & Workflow Management
Allocate roles effectively across the team based on capacity, skillset, and hiring urgency.
Manage job flow, prioritisation, and workload to maintain momentum across a fast-paced recruitment desk.
Oversee and optimise job advertising strategy, ensuring roles are marketed effectively across job boards, LinkedIn, and specialist channels.
Continuously seek efficiencies in processes, tools, and ways of working to improve speed and quality of hire.

Stakeholder Partnership
Act as the senior recruitment point of contact for Practice Leads, Delivery Managers, and Account Managers.
Translate technical and commercial requirements into clear recruitment strategies and candidate profiles.
Provide market insights, hiring trends, and pipeline intelligence to support workforce planning.

Talent Strategy & Pipeline Development
Ensure the team builds and maintains strong talent pipelines across all five practice areas.
Drive proactive sourcing strategies, including headhunting, networking, and market mapping.
Ensure a consistently high-quality candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.

Recruitment Operations & Reporting
Monitor recruitment data and produce regular performance reporting for internal stakeholders.
Identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities within the recruitment lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with internal processes, data protection, and best practice standards.

Experience implementing recruitment efficiencies or process improvements.
Established UK technology recruitment network.

What We Offer
Competitive salary with performance-related bonus.
