What we’re looking for:
1. Do you have extensive experience of working in an in-house payroll function in a management position?
2. Are you familiar in report writing using payroll software packages?
3. Do you have demonstrable experience of business partnering and collaborating across different departments?
4. Have you previously lead on internal and external payroll audits?
5. Do you have proven working knowledge in payroll accounting?
6. Do you have technical knowledge of statutory legislation, pensions and data management?

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Payroll Business Partner on a Permanent basis at our offices in Pembroke House, Basildon.
A bit about the role:
As a Payroll Business Partner, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Group Payroll, you will be responsible for supporting the payroll team in delivering an exceptional service across the business.
7. Business partner with Finance team to ensure that all payroll costs are accounted for and reconciled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
8. Leading on the reporting of payroll data for the business. Create, maintain and execute payroll reports using PXD insights and analytics tools. Produce timely, accurate and well presented information in line with internal and external requirements.
9. Lead and support on payroll related projects including developing partnerships with the business areas such as PAC team
10. Lead on the compliance of NLW/NMW regulations in terms of salary sacrifice for pensions and flexible benefits.
11. Manage the administration of the main auto enrolment & SHPS pension schemes in line with colleagues contractual terms and conditions. Upload the monthly new joiners data and submit contribution payments onto third party platforms.
12. Payroll lead on all reporting requirements for internal and external audits.
This role will require a minimum of 2 - 3 days working in Pembroke House.
