About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in leading and mentoring the residential care team while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained within the Ollerton home.
This is a low‑risk, nurturing environment with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, routine, and personal development — it is not a setting characterised by daily aggressive behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead, mentor, and support residential care staff to deliver high‑quality, child‑centred care
-Oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure safeguarding and care standards are upheld
-Support the development, implementation, and review of individual care plans
-Foster positive relationships and promote emotional wellbeing for children and young people
-Work collaboratively with management and external professionals to coordinate care and support
Salary, Hours & Benefits
* Salary: £33,500 – £36,500 per year

What the Client Is Looking For
Essential:
*QCF Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in residential childcare
*Demonstrable leadership or supervisory experience
*Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding
*A full UK driving licence
Desirable:
*QCF Level 5 in a relevant field
