Chef de Partie required for Rural Pub in the Heart of Cheshire.
**4 day working week** - 1 x Thursday, Friday & Saturday guaranteed off a month

We are looking for a Chef that wants a challenge and to push on and take the next step in their career. You will contribute to the very highest standards of kitchen hygiene, food prep and presentation. Therefore you must be able to demonstrate your passion for food and desire to exceed guest expectation.
The Chef will be able to work unsupervised as well as work effectively as part of the overall team. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the kitchen in the absence of the senior chef's. You will be working closely with the senior chef's in the running of the kitchen and helping developing junior staff.
Day to day duties will include Cooking and Serving Fresh Food to a high standard, in line with company requirements, veg prep; stocks, maintaining hygiene & food safety, ordering & training.
Chef Requirements
· Previous experience in a similar role or environment is essential
· Creative and clean worker who enjoys the challenges of fresh food
· Food hygiene qualification level and above
· Good attention to detail
· Proactive approach to service challenges
· Immaculate presentation standards in all that you do
· Good communication skills with colleagues at all levels
· Good standards of numeracy & literacy
· Passion to exceed guest expectation first time, on time, every time
· Staff must be eligible to work in the UK.
Training and development will be provided.
Own Transport beneficial due to location and possible finishing times public transport may not be available after 9pm
Must be flexible as will work shifts, will include weekends and evenings
Rota to be done in advance and shifts determined by the business.
Hours of work to vary between 7am and 11pm on a rolling rota for a 4 day working week - with exceptions to holiday cover
