We are currently looking for an experienced CMM Programmer to join our fast-paced manufacturing company. The successful candidate will take ownership of CMM programming supporting production and quality requirements across the business.
Experience programming from CAD models and engineering drawings is required. Familiarity with Keyence measurement systems would be advantageous, although training can be provided to the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Create, optimise, and maintain inspection programs for CMM and Keyence systems (primarily CAD-based).
· Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
· Support FAIR documentation and capability studies when required.
· Ensure inspection documentation is accurate and audit-ready.
· Validate new programs through first-off inspections and prove-outs.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
· Approximately 5 years' experience in CMM programming.
· Ability to programme from both CAD data and engineering drawings.
· Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
· Experience within a precision manufacturing/engineering environment.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand production environment.
Desirable:
· Experience using Keyence measurement systems (training can be provided).
· Experience working within an AS9100 and ISO9001 quality management system.
