Retail Team Member - Bury St Edmunds
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Hours: To include weekends
Pay rate: £12.60 Per Hour (including paid breaks)
Join Our Retail Team! There’s more to COOK than food: our shops actively serve their communities, thanks to the warmth, knowledge, and care of our Retail Team. We’re seeking remarkable individuals to host customers in the shop as they would at home.
The Role
* Offer exceptional service, prioritizing the customer above all else.
* Assist customers with menu planning, catering advice, and inform them about offers, products, and promotions.
* Maintain shop cleanliness, replenish stock, and ensure freezers are full.
* Operate the till efficiently and accurately.
* Understand shop paperwork, legal checks, and their purposes.
* Open and close the shop, including cashing up.
* Check deliveries, assist with stock taking, and place orders as needed.
* Wear a smart apron and name badge at all times.
Good to Have
If you're a foodie, great! We will train you on our products, their origins, and suitable dishes for various occasions. Experience is not necessary, but retail or customer-facing experience is a plus.
