Are you dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join our supportive team at a secondary school in Romford.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
* Employ inclusive teaching strategies that foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
* Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other professionals to support student development.
* Utilize assistive technology and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
* Monitor and report on the progress of students, adapting strategies as needed.
Requirements:
* A recognized qualification in Special Education.
* Experience working with children with diverse learning needs.
* Strong understanding of the latest SEN teaching methods and legal frameworks.
* Empathy, patience, and the ability to motivate and encourage students.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
