We are seeking a professional and highly organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our clients friendly team in Pickering. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, takes pride in delivering excellent client service, and ensures that all administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle all incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally
* Receive, sort and distribute incoming post and deliveries
* Welcome and assist clients and visitors, always maintaining privacy and confidentiality
* Ensure the reception area is kept clean, tidy and well-presented
* Check that all reception equipment is in good working order
* Order and organise office stationery and consumables; carry out shopping when required
* Obtain quotes and arrange orders for office furniture and equipment
* Report and follow up on any maintenance or repair issues as required
* Handle cash, cheque and card payments; manage receipts, petty cash and banking accurately
* Organise meetings, including room set-up, refreshments and catering as required
* Carry out general administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying and distributing documents

Requirements:

* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and discretion
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Previous experience in reception or administration preferred

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
Location: Pickering, North Yorkshire
