Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 OTE (including overtime)

Must Haves
* Time-served Maintenance Engineer
* Strong electrical fault‑finding ability
* Experience working on industrial machinery
* Basic PLC fault‑finding / diagnostics
* Proactive, hands‑on attitude
Hours
* Monday to Friday – Rotating shifts
* 1 week: 06:00 – 14:30
* 1 week: 13:30 – 22:00
* 2 weeks: 08:00 – 16:30 (overtime available at time and a half)
The Opportunity
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced maintenance role within a well‑established manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for keeping machinery running efficiently, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance, and playing a key role in minimising downtime across the site. If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving, and being a go‑to engineer on the shop floor, this role gives you the autonomy to do exactly that.
Key Responsibilities
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance of machinery
* Fault finding on motors, drives, and control systems
* PLC fault finding and basic diagnostics
* Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance
* Supporting continuous improvement projects
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
* Participating in the on‑call rota
What We’re Looking For
* A confident, hands‑on engineer with a strong electrical background
* Someone who can fault find quickly and effectively under pressure
* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* 18th Edition (advantageous but not essential)
* A team player with a proactive mindset
