Ad-Hoc SEN Teaching Assistant

A specialist SEN school in the Lostock Hall area of Preston is looking for reliable, caring, and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to provide ad-hoc support on a flexible basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work while making a meaningful impact supporting children and young people with additional needs in a specialist educational setting.


The Role

* Providing classroom support across different age groups and needs
* Working one-to-one and in small groups with pupils with SEND
* Supporting pupils with learning, communication, and emotional regulation
* Assisting teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
* Adapting to different classroom settings and daily requirements


The Ideal Candidate

* Experience working with SEN children or vulnerable young people is desirable
* Flexible, dependable, and able to adapt quickly
* Calm, patient, and supportive nature
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Backgrounds in education, care, youth work, or support work welcomed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
