We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our Pre-Prep team. This full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week, 36 weeks per year) involves supporting children's learning and wellbeing in the Nursery.
The successful candidate will:
* Bring previous experience of working with or caring for children (ideally in an educational setting).
* Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Be flexible, patient, and committed to supporting children's learning and welfare.
* Show a willingness to undertake relevant training, including safeguarding.
* Ideally hold a Teaching Assistant qualification and/or experience in phonics, reading support or early years practice (though not essential).
Key responsibilities include:
* Being a key person to children within the Nursery.
* Assisting in lessons and supporting children's learning across the curriculum.
* Supervising children during break and lunchtimes.
* Contributing to displays, planning and general classroom support.
* Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children at all times.
