We are offering a Lead Clinician role at Fieldstone School in Devon. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead, splitting time between clinically leading the team and maintaining a therapy caseload. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students who may present with complex profiles of need resulting from autism and other neurodivergent, developmental trauma and SEMH needs, with EHCP plans a primary focus.
The role also includes coordinating line management of onsite clinical staff and leading on service development of the school-based clinical service.
The Role
Lead Clinician to manage the in-house Clinical Team at Fieldstone School. You will, in collaboration with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead, deliver assessment and intervention plans. You will contribute to a person-centred, safeguarding-focused culture and strive to improve outcomes for pupils through innovative clinical approaches.
Location: Fieldstone School, Devon (TQ12 1NH). The school forms part of the Acorn Education brand and is an independent specialist day school for pupils aged 5–16.
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. Contract: Permanent (term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed).
Salary: £50,000 – £0,000 dependent on experience plus Welcome Bonus described below.
Essential Criteria
* Degree or Masters in Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy or Doctorate in Psychology
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS)
* Experience within the specialist client group (autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs)
* Clear and concise report writing related to clinical and research activities
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently and to operate within a growing clinical service
* Experience of multi-professional work within the designated specialty
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
