The Role – RRV / Heavy Plant Fitter As an RRV / Heavy Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, inspecting, and repairing heavy plant and road rail vehicles to the highest safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities * Maintenance, servicing, and repair of RRV and heavy plant equipment * Routine testing of safety-critical systems * Statutory inspections and annual plant examinations * Accurate completion of service, inspection, and repair records * Reporting defects and supporting plant safety performance * Calibration and inspection of lifting accessories * Supporting fleet availability and reliability * Working closely with depot and operational teams Requirements * Experience as an RRV / Heavy Plant Fitter or heavy plant fitter * Mechanical or diesel engineering background * Time-served or qualified fitter * Strong attention to detail and methodical approach * Team-focused with a positive, can-do attitude * Full UK driving licence * PTS card beneficial but not essential (training provided) If you are an experienced RRV / Heavy Plant Fitter or a heavy plant fitter looking for stability, strong pay, and progression, this is an excellent opportunity.
