We are looking to recruit a visionary leader with a passion for digital transformation and patient care as the NWAS Regional Lead Director of Services. We seek a leader to oversee our directory of services.
Role Purpose
This high-profile strategic role involves providing senior management support for the implementation and system support of NHS Pathways DoS and Capacity Management Modules (DoS) across the NHS North West footprint. The post-holder will support over 60 NHS organisations in the North West, including Acute Trusts, Commissioners, NHS 111, and NWAS, offering system education, specialist training, and operational support.
Main Responsibilities
1. Manage the maintenance of the DoS system in line with best practices and national guidance.
2. Evaluate and assess policies and procedures, develop implementation plans, and ensure user compliance with procedural standards.
3. Provide consultancy and advisory support to NHS Trusts to enable effective capacity and activity management, analyzing complex user requirements and proposing technical solutions.
4. Promote collaborative working for a fully integrated, cross-regional approach to DoS issues.
5. Coordinate the work programme of the DoS implementation user groups and manage related workstreams and ancillary groups.
6. Provide senior leadership to address capacity and performance requirements supporting national and local strategic objectives, including cost efficiencies.
