My NEW client based just outside of Wrexham is looking for a Production Operator/Yardperson to join their already busy team
This is a physically demanding, hands on role with loading and unloading wagons. Preparing customer orders and maintaining a safe and tidy workplace
Other duties will include
* Material handling: Unloading, transporting, and storing materials safely.
* Order preparation: Assembling customer orders for collection or delivery.
* Customer service: Assisting customers with loading their vehicles and answering questions.
* Yard maintenance: Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and free of hazards, which can include operating recycling equipment like balers .
Skills needed:
* Physical fitness: The role is often physically demanding, requiring lifting and manual labour.
* Teamwork: The ability to work as part of a team and take instructions is essential.
* Flexibility: Willingness to be flexible and assist with other duties as needed.
* Experience: Experience working in a similar yard environment or in a relevant trade is often preferred.
* Qualifications: Depending on the role, qualifications like a forklift license or a full UK driving license may be preferred or required.
* Attention to detail: Necessary for tasks like preparing orders accurately and maintaining safety standards
This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
£12.26 per hour
