Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Availability: 7 days a week (on a rota basis)

Commis Chef Responsibilities

Support senior chefs in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of a wide range of dishes for the hotel’s restaurant and bar.

Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness at all times.
*
Ensure all food is prepared, labelled, and stored according to safety standards.
*
Work closely with the chef team to deliver consistent quality and presentation.
*
Assist with stock rotation and kitchen organisation.
*
Follow all health and safety and food safety regulations.
*
Provide support during busy service periods, helping the chef team deliver an outstanding guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous kitchen or commis chef experience is desirable, but a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are most important.
*
Passion for cooking and developing as a chef in a professional hotel kitchen.
*
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
*
Flexibility to work a 7-day rota, including weekends and evenings (2pm–10pm).
*
Reliable, punctual, and motivated to deliver high standards every shift.
