Innovative, growing business based in Yorkshire is seeking an EC&I Engineer at Engineer or Senior level to join their team, working with a leading client base in the UK and worldwide. The company offers a broad range of unique projects with a stable team.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Hybrid working, Overtime, Healthcare & more

We are looking for a skilled Engineer experienced in supporting EPCs with complex electrical designs, ideally familiar with ATEX in highly regulated environments and machinery safety.
EC&I Engineer – Responsibilities:
* Participate in tendering processes—review specifications, create deviation lists, negotiate scope of supply
* Select skid electrical components based on project specifications and create BOM—instrument fittings, glands, cables, cable trays, etc.
* Work within ISO9001 and ISO3834 quality systems
* Understand contracts related to electrical and instrumentation scope for centrifuge packages
* Prepare P&ID diagrams according to company and customer requirements
* Complete engineering documents such as instrument lists, IO lists, cable lists, interconnection diagrams
* Compile FAT & SAT documentation
* Coordinate with sales, production, and purchasing departments to ensure timely project delivery
EC&I Engineer – Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar industry
* Electrical design experience; AutoCAD preferred but training available for other packages
* Self-motivated with flexibility for travel
* Mechanical engineering knowledge is beneficial
* Experience in highly regulated environments like Oil & Gas or Nuclear is advantageous
The role primarily focuses on electrical design. Additional PLC software skills would be a plus.
