Mon – Thursday 07.00 – 15.30
Friday 07.00 – 13.00
Breaks:
1 paid 30-minute break
1 unpaid 30-minute Break
Rate of Pay:
£13.50 - £14.00 per hour, we may need your guidance here to be able to fill the position.

Job Purpose:
To carry out mechanical assembly tasks in accordance with defined procedures and quality standards, ensuring that all products meet customer and company expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform basic mechanical assembly operations using hand tools, torque tools, and other equipment.
* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
* Apply torque tools correctly to achieve specified torque values and ensure product integrity.
* Conduct in-process quality checks and report any non-conformances or defects.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S and health & safety standards.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Record production data and complete relevant documentation accurately.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with basic assembly processes and tools.
* Proven experience using torque tools and understanding of torque specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
* Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
* Team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
Desirable Qualifications:
* NVQ or equivalent in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
* Basic understanding of quality systems and ISO standards
