Responsibilities
Make an impact as a Maintenance Technician in Grantham. Working rotating 12-hour days and nights. Salary depends on experience, plus excellent benefits including private healthcare and a contributory pension scheme.
* Supporting our Resident Site Engineers, carrying out automated materials handling equipment servicing, in accordance with quality standards.
* Performing electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs and planned preventative maintenance on machinery such as cranes, conveyors, vertical lifts, monorail systems, and a deep freeze high bay.
* Working in a cold environment (-18°C).
* Undertaking repairs following manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.
* Complying with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
* Ensuring quality of output and adherence to company quality processes and procedures.
* Working at heights.
* Representing the company professionally within a team of engineers, striving for excellence and best practices in all tasks.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed:
* Competence in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering as a Maintenance Technician.
* An apprenticeship-trained Mechanical/Electrical or Controls Engineer with at least Level 2 Qualification.
* GCSEs Grade C or above in Maths, English, and Science.
* Willingness to work at heights.
* Effective communication skills for a customer-facing role.
* Ability to adapt to changing demands and situations.
* Proactive knowledge sharing and integrity.
