Position: Care Team Leader - Tiverton at Lifeways Group. Location: Tiverton, Devon (EX16 0DH). Employment type: Permanent. Role: Team Leader. Hours: 37.5 per week. Salary: £13.70 per hour. Ref No: 11571.

Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver excellent person-centred care and support to people supported by Lifeways, enabling them to live a fulfilling and independent life.
* Recruit and develop support workers through supervision, interviews and guidance.
* Communicate effectively with staff, people we support and external professionals; maintain good written communication and ICT records.
* Support people who may have learning difficulties, autism, challenging behaviours and mobility issues; some manual handling may be required.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Full UK Driving Licence (driving company cars).
* Experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker; NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) would be an advantage. Lifeways also supports dedicated Care Assistants or Carers with progression through training.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and IT skills for record keeping.
