About the role
Are you passionate about delivering engaging training programs? We have an exciting opportunity to be a Wastewater Trainer, where you’ll design and deliver training to ensure our operators are competent and safe in their roles. This role is critical to ensure operators have all the necessary training to succeed.
You’ll develop engaging and practical training materials and deliver those modules within the Wastewater Directorate. Your training will be industry-leading, reinforcing our high standards and embedding our company values and behaviors.
You’ll partner with operational teams to assess and support adherence to operational procedures, ensuring your training remains current with industry standards. Post-training, you’ll assess competence to ensure standards are met and support continuous improvement through review and feedback, monitoring changes in external regulatory and compliance environments.
Externally, you’ll maintain networks across operational areas and with other Water and Sewerage companies to foster continuous learning and best practices.
Overall, you’ll manage your workload effectively while collaborating with our talent and training team to align with the wider business objectives.
About you
If you have experience in training within a regulatory environment and understand compliance frameworks, we want to hear from you. You may have previously worked in training, developing materials against company standards, or worked in operations and are seeking a career change into training. Knowledge of Wastewater operations is critical for success in this role.
You’ll adapt your delivery style to your audience, using strong written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively at all levels of the business.
You’ll demonstrate the ability to work independently to achieve goals and support strategy, as well as collaborate with other teams to solve problems and manage priorities.
