Teaching Personnel is supporting a well-regarded secondary school in the Manchester area that is looking for an Aspiring Trainee Teacher to cover lessons across various subjects while gaining essential classroom experience. You will:
* Deliver prepared cover lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and productive in the absence of their regular teacher.
* Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, ensuring all activities are completed and students' learning is maintained.
* Provide pastoral support to students, helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support classroom management, ensuring that students adhere to the school's behaviour expectations and remain focused throughout the lesson.
* Assist with marking and feedback as needed, helping students track their progress.
* Develop your teaching practice by observing experienced teachers, receiving constructive feedback, and taking part in opportunities for self-improvement and professional growth.
