We are seeking dedicated and motivated Tutors to start immediately. Successful candidates will support Primary and Secondary pupils across Rhondda within environments committed to delivering outstanding education and opportunities for all learners. About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and proactive Tutors passionate about inspiring learners and upholding high educational standards. Tutors will provide tailored support in core skills, study techniques, well-being, and pastoral care. A strong proficiency in Mathematics and Literacy is essential, as some pupils will be preparing for their GCSE examinations.
All tutoring sessions are delivered on a one-to-one basis. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure compliance with established processes within this personalised learning environment.
Key Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role
Level 3 qualification or coaching certification related to education (desirable but not essential)
Experience in learning support roles, including skills development, pastoral care, and well-being support (desirable)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with a proven ability to manage challenging behaviours
Demonstrated commitment to learner support and well-being, adopting an inclusive, learner-centred approach
Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with young people, parents, external organisations, and academic staff
