Urgent BIM Manager Vacancy Immediate Start Required
Location: London
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are urgently seeking a BIM Manager to take the reins of a well-established Digital Engineering team and help steer major live projects through a critical transition period. The successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining confidence with clients and project stakeholders, following the sudden departure of the current manager.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone ready to step up quickly, take responsibility, and drive BIM excellence across the division.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the existing BIM team across high-profile projects.
Reassure and engage with clients, providing continuity and a steady hand during this leadership change.
Support the development and implementation of the Digital Engineering strategy, alongside the Senior Management Team.
Deliver and maintain a structured learning programme to upskill Design Management personnel in all areas of BIM and Digital Engineering.
Monitor compliance with divisional BIM procedures and protocols in line with industry standards.
Conduct quality assurance audits on external BIM deliverables at a regional level.
Oversee and fulfil information management duties on current projects.
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
In-depth understanding and practical experience with:
ISO 19650-1, 19650-2, 19650-3, 19650-5
BS 1192-4:2014
Industry-standard formats such as IFC
Technical proficiency in:
Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage
Solibri Office
Synchro
BIMcollab (or similar)
Viewpoint for Projects
What Were Looking For:
A strong communicator able to instil confidence and clarity with both internal teams and clients.
Proven experience in managing BIM teams and driving digital delivery on major construction projects.
Calm under pressure, proactive, and solution-focused.
Available to start immediately or at very short notice .
