Salary: £33,000 per annum (£55k pro rata)
Hours: 22 hours per week (3 days, 7.5 hours per day) – Monday to Friday
Contract: Part-time, with opportunity for additional hours
About the Role (SALT)
My Client currently has a role in theirspecialist multidisciplinary facility supporting individuals with mild to moderate learning disabilities and autism. We are looking for an experienced Lead Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join our team and make a real difference in patient care.
This role is perfect for someone with strong clinical experience in dysphasia and a passion for supervising and developing a small, dedicated team of SALTs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of 3 SALTs (Lead, Senior, and Assistant).
* Provide clinical care and interventions for patients with learning disabilities and autism.
* Deliver assessments and treatment plans, with opportunities to develop CPD skills in autism and ADHD assessments.
* Support and supervise staff in line with best practice and Priory guidelines.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and RMNs.
* Report to the Director of Clinical Services, with clinical supervision from the Head/Director of Therapies.
Requirements
* 3–4 years’ experience in dysphasia.
* Previous experience supervising or leading a small team.
* Full availability across Monday to Friday.
* Passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* No sponsorship available for this role.
