Job Description:
* As the Project Manager, candidates will support cost structure organization, kickoff coordination, project planning, monitoring, and reporting activities.
* Candidates will ensure deliverables meet project requirements while maintaining proper documentation and facilitating communication across teams.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Project Manager in organizing the project cost structure in Oracle ERP.
* Participate in customer, internal, and supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Program Manager with preparation and coordination.
* Monitor project budgets and schedules and raise issues to the Product Manager.
* Monitor tasks and coordinate with functional support teams to resolve issues.
* Monitor project trends and work with functional support organizations to correct adverse trends.
* Develop and issue the Project Management Plan and related project plans and procedures.
* Facilitate the implementation of project plans and procedures across the project team.
* Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools.
* Coordinate project activities and monitor progress on deliverables.
* Ensure conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements.
* Organize and archive project correspondence and records per configuration management requirements.
* Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and progress reports.
Requirement/Must Have:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 2 years of experience as a project manager, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience working on projects.
* Proven professional experience in project management, engineering, or business.
Should Have:
* Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM.
* Nuclear power experience in operations or engineering.
* Proficiency with project management software tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
* Fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge.
* Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs.
* Knowledge of the power industry, customer environment, and competitive landscape.
* Financial control knowledge and understanding.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
* Demonstrated organizational skills related to project execution.
