Summary
We are looking for a proactive and forward-thinking HR Advisor to join our People Services Team. In this role, you’ll deliver high quality HR support and advice to managers and employees, helping to shape a consistent, professional people service across the organisation. The available post is offered on a permanent basis based at Service Headquarters, working full time (37 hours per week) and offers a Grade 6 salary starting at £38,220 (gross) per annum.

Key responsibilities:
1. Provide clear, professional HR advice on employee relations, policies, and terms and conditions.
2. Manage your own caseload, supporting managers with performance, absence, and informal casework.
3. Build strong relationships with managers, offering guidance and coaching.
4. Support investigations and formal processes, including notetaking and advising at hearings.
5. Collaborate with HR Business Partners to deliver a consistent HR service.
6. Act as an escalation point for HR Coordinator and Assistant queries.
7. Analyse HR Data (e.g. via iTrent) to identify trends and support action planning.
8. Support job evaluation processes and organisational change activity.
9. Contribute to HR projects, training delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Keep up to date with employment law and best practice.
