The Role
Working closely with commercial and operational teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions across a range of construction projects.
You will play a key role in the bid process from initial enquiry through to final submission, helping secure future projects and supporting continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
* Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering options
* Produce take-offs and pricing schedules
* Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal delivery teams
* Assist with tender adjudication and final submissions
* Manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively
About You;
* Previous experience as an Estimator within construction
* Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
* Experience pricing commercial or industrial projects preferred
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
