Support vulnerable adults with a history of rough sleeping to maintain supported accommodation and progress toward independent living.
THE ROLE
This is an in-person role supporting residents at one of Bath’s local authority-run supported housing schemes. You will help former rough sleepers and other complex service users to sustain their tenancies, manage their finances, and eventually move on to independent accommodation.
Provide personalised support to residents with complex needs
Submit complete Housing Benefit applications promptly
Manage and monitor rent and service charge accounts
Set up and maintain repayment plans
Pursue arrears and ensure payments are appropriately recorded
Ensure licence agreements and tenancy documentation are signed and uploaded
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the team’s CRM system
THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for a housing or support professional with experience in supported housing or working with rough sleepers and vulnerable adults.
Previous experience supporting complex or high-needs clients
Knowledge of Housing Benefit processes and welfare entitlements
Experience managing rent accounts and tenancy sign-ups
Strong administrative and IT skills, including CRM systems
Understanding of safeguarding and tenancy sustainment
THE CONTRACT
9:00 – 17:00 Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 – 14:00 Friday
3 Month Contract, Temp to Perm opportunity
The pay for the role is £19.46 per hour LTD company rate.
The PAYE equivalent is £16.70 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
