Audit & Accounts Manager / Senior Manager

Responsibilities
* Manage your own diverse portfolio of audit and accounts clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
* Oversee end‑to‑end audit and accounts engagements from planning through to completion.
* Collaborate closely with directors to identify opportunities for client growth and advisory services.
* Review financial statements, audit files, and tax computations prepared by junior staff.
* Lead and motivate a team of seniors and trainees, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
* Build and maintain long‑lasting client relationships, gaining deep insights into their businesses.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
* Support the business in identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and client service delivery.
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified.
* Demonstrable experience in a similar Audit & Accounts Manager or Senior Manager role.
* Proven track record of managing audits, particularly for owner‑managed businesses.
* Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commercially astute with the ability to identify value‑added opportunities for clients.
* Familiarity with CCH and other accounting software (desirable).
* Tech‑savvy with a modern approach to accountancy and audit work.
