We currently have an exciting opportunity for a site-based Security Manager to manage the provision of security & business support services to the client within the customers sites, ensuring specific contract and Company performance targets, both financial and operational, are consistently met and/or exceeded. Establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships is essential, as is the ability to keep up-to-date with market changes and opportunities such that Corps Security is retained as the security provider of choice to our customers You will be working Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with additional weekends as and when required. Previous security experience in a B2B environment Previous experience of operating budgets in excess of £3m Proven ability to manage a team across multiple sites Able to obtain SC Clearance Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels. Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel) Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards What are you going to do: Adopt the principles of the University Charter, be responsible for all operational colleagues and have a full understanding of the functions To liaise and meet with customers and key clients on a regular basis to review & record contract performance To be responsible for manning levels of contracted, ad-hoc and special events as per customer requirements To ensure the safety & wellbeing of both customer staff & Corps colleagues are maintained Monitor and manage revenue and costs in line with the current contract costing model and prepare monthly forecasts in line with accounting requirements Lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development training Identify areas, for additional business from both current & potential customers and provide ongoing support to the Business Development team to grow the business Manage your on-going training and career development, attending training sessions as and when required, and actively seek out internal & external networking opportunities *Please Note: These are the key elements of the role and a full Job Description will be provided* Diversity is important to Corps Security; we believe that each individual has unique talents to contribute to the business.
