If you have an ambitious vision for delivering high-standard training and assessing we need your help at a brilliant college in Leicester. We are seeking a trainer assessor to support within the Electrical Instillations Department. The role will involve some teaching a long side some group based delivery and learning.
Colleges across the Leicestershire area are often seeking strong, experienced engineering staff to teach at various levels – Often level 1-3.
We are looking for an individual who has the passion and ability to impart the students through their own personal experience and skill set.
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant Engineering Qualifications (Degree, Level 3 other recognise quals)
DBS (and on update service)
Great industry experience and knowledge (Crucial)
CAVA Level 3 Assessor Qualification
Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards and E-portfolio system (Smart Assessor) is beneficial.
Ideally hold or be prepared to work towards an Assessor and Verification award, e.g., TAQA, A1 or V1.
A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent.
